Men fatally shot in suburban Boynton Beach ID'd

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - UPDATE: The two men fatally shot early Tuesday morning in suburban Boynton Beach were identified.

Officials say the victims were identified as 23-year-old Ricky Taylor Miner and 21-year-old Andrew Vincent Laudano, both of Boynton Beach.

Dozens of people held a candlelight vigil Wednesday night for the two men.

The Sheriff's Office says Ricky and Andrew were in a Dodge Charger on Talway Circle in the Melrose Park Development when they were shot.

Paramedics responded early Tuesday morning to a call about a car crash. The Sheriff's Office says there is no evidence of a crash and no details about a possible motive.

EARLIER STORY: Two people were fatally shot early Tuesday morning in suburban Boynton Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Fire Rescue was dispatched to a silver car that crashed in the 8000 block of Verona Lakes around 5 a.m. When they arrived and attempted to assist the driver, crews said they noticed that two victims inside the vehicle were shot.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

PBSO deputies were called and responded to the scene. Detectives and crime scene investigators have been called and are currently in route to the scene to investigate further.
