Update: Guardian is now in his forever home, but don't forget about his furry friends up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Meet our Peggy's Pick of the Week Guardian. He's a 10-year-old mixed breed who is up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Here's a special message from Guardian:

"Hello! It's so great to meet you! I go by the name Guardian. Now, don't think that I'm a couch potato because of my age, because I'm not! While I do love a good snuggle on the sofa, I also love to run! I get so, so excited to go on walks. I do walk well on a leash, but once I get a chance to really run, off I go! I know that many other dogs like to play fetch, but I much prefer to play chase! Try and catch me, but I bet you can't! Once our game is over, I'll probably want to sit right on your lap. Who says that big dogs can't be lap dogs too? I love to cuddle and get lots of petting. Do I sound like the right companion for you? I'd love to find my forever home!"
