LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Family and friends of Woody Erilas continue to remind the community of Lake Worth of his unsolved murder.
Erilas was found dead in the street in front of his home in January. His family is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone who helps detectives figure out what happened.
His sister Vanesa Erilas and others who knew him regularly hand out fliers asking people to come forward with any information. On Sunday, a group gathered to set up a memorial for him in front of Lake Worth City Hall and to march for justice in his case.
Erilas would have been 28-years-old this week. His family displayed oil paintings of his in front of city hall, saying he always wanted to be remembered as a great painter.
His sister says her family won’t rest until detectives find the person who is responsible for his death.
"He accepted everybody,” Vanesa Erilas says. “He looked at the bright side of every situation, and for him to leave the earth this way is heartbreaking."
Anyone with information about Woodley Erilas’s death is asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
