Glen Franklin Neal, Jr. kicked, punched, and bit 11-month-old, Pinellas Park Police say

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - Pinellas Park Police are hunting for a man who they say abused an infant to near-death.

Investigators responded Sunday to All Children's Hospital following reports that an 11-month-old boy was admitted to the hospital with a severe head injury.

They determined that Glen Franklin Neal, Jr. kicked, punched and bit the infant resulting in the head trauma. The child remains in serious condition with bleeding on his brain.

Neal, 31, was in the home of the child and was responsible for the care and custody of him.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Neal are asked to call the police.

Neal has a violent criminal history to include child neglect, resisting arrest, fleeing to elude, cocaine possession and battery upon a law enforcement officer.
