PALM SPRINGS, Fla. - A man was shot Monday morning in the 3800 block of South Congress Ave. of Palm Springs.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection with Second Avenue.
The victim is in his late teens or early 20s. He was flown by medical helicopter to an area hospital.
Officers said they have an idea of who the shooter could be. Currently no one is in custody.
Police have a block closed to traffic while they investigate.
