Meet our Peggy's Pick of the Week Scooby. He's a 13-year-old male mixed breed who is up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Here's a special message from Scooby:

Hey there, my name is Scooby! Just like the real Scooby Doo, I like to do lots of investigating, especially with this nose of mine! Don't think that just because I'm an older fellow that I can't get around well. I've got plenty of energy, that's for sure! I could run and run all day, and that includes away from a leash when it's time to go back inside! What can I say? I love the great outdoors! Do you love it too? Don't get me wrong, I'm also quite the fan of snuggling up where it's nice and cozy, so I enjoy the best of both worlds! If you do too, I'm sure we'd be a great match. If you're a senior citizen, like me, and adopt me, my adoption fee is waived and all you pay for is my rabies tag. Senior pets make the best pets if I do say so myself!
