The search for missing Tequesta teens Austin Stephanos and Perry Cohen will continue Wednesday after being hampered for two days with less than ideal weather, a spokesperson for the family says.

“We plan to surge assets and personnel on Wednesday, Aug. 5, to take full advantage of an environmental window that is expected to bring favorable weather conditions,” the spokesperson said.

Life vests, a white YETI Tundra 35-quart cooler, a recently-painted Yamaha silver-gray engine cover, a Plano tackle box, and a pair of white Royal brand fishing/rain boots have not yet been recovered from the boat. If they turn up the family hopes to narrow the search area with the help of tracking dogs.

If anyone finds the items the family asks that you contact them at 1-352-222-3314, or by email at FindPerryandAustin@gmail.com.

"The generosity, goodwill, and heartfelt prayers of so many have sustained us during this trying ordeal,” the families said in a statement.

The GoFundMe campaign to support search efforts is no longer accepting donations because it has been fully funded.

The Coast Guard called off their search after looking for the boys for a week.

Their boat was originally located by the Coast Guard days after the boys went missing, but the boat has since disappeared.

"Our families praise the Coast Guard’s dedicated efforts, both before and after the vessel was located. The priority of the Coast Guard was to rescue Perry and Austin, not the boat. We remain thankful for their quick reaction, and then redirection of the enormous search plan for the boys after the capsized boat was discovered. We have been assured and remain confident that all possible scenarios regarding this incident were entered into the Coast Guards search model," the families said.
