National Hurricane Center: Erika has dissipated

According to the National Hurricane Center, Erika is no longer a tropical storm.

A rough terrain and a hostile atmosphere has caused the storm to degenerate.

NHC will stop issuing advisories this morning, and all Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings have been discontinued.

What's left will still have an impact on our local weather Sunday through early Tuesday.

Very heavy rain, maybe even some severe storms, are possible along with wind gusts as high as 30 m.p.h.
