Police continue to investigate a deadly shooting that killed two teens in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - West Palm Beach police are working to determine whether Wednesday's shooting that left two teens dead and two others injured, was a random act or if the boys were targeted.

Police said they are checking all leads at this point.

Shots were fired on North 19th Street just before 2 p-m Wednesday.  City leaders said one of the victims, 19-year-old Johnny Davis, was turning his life around.

Davis attended the youth town hall meeting two weeks ago at Gaines Park.

This makes the 9th deadly shooting of the summer and the 14th homicide of the year for West Palm Beach.

City officials may consider putting more patrols on the streets.

"Law enforcement, you gotta do something, beef up patrol, if you got to put somebody on every other corner.  I don't know what, enough is enough, enough of our young boys have died," said West Palm Beach City Commissioner Keith James.

There will be another peace walk Friday at Friendship Missionary Baptist church. It begins at 6 p-m.
