PBSO: Man smokes cocaine, drinks beers, runs around half-naked

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- A Palm Beach Gardens man was arrested Monday evening after a Sheriff's Deputy says he exposed himself.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office received a report of a man exposing himself at approximately 7:43 p.m.

Deputies responded to East Roan Court where they saw 53-year-old Vance Frederick Langston, wearing only a white t-shirt, running beside a canal.

According to PBSO, deputies ran after Langston and found him sitting on the ground, leaning against a shed gasping for air.

Deputies say Langston admitted that he had smoked an unknown amount of cocaine and drank several beers before exiting his home to urinate.

When questioned about why he was only wearing a t-shirt, PBSO says Langston told them the reason was because he was hot.

Langston said he did not see anyone while he was outside his home.

Deputies made contact with four witnesses who saw Langston exposing himself.

One witness, a 14-year-old girl, said she saw Langston wearing no pants or underwear sit down on the canal bank directly across from her and her family and start "playing with himself."

Another witness, a 49-year-old woman, said she saw Langston sit on the canal bank and "touch himself."

She said he got up several times to hide behind a shed, only to come back to the same spot and sit down and touch himself again while staring at her and her family.

Two other witnesses gave similar accounts.

Langston was arrested and charged with Lewd or Lascivious or Exhibition and Indecent Exposure. He was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.
