Human remains found recently in 2 separate Palm Beach County locations

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner's office is trying to identify two separate sets of remains that were recently discovered.

On Wednesday, detectives with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office were passing out flyers for a missing man, Tyler Etue in Lake Worth.

While passing out flyers, detectives noticed a foul odor coming from a trash can. Inside, they found male human remains.

Those remains have not been connected to the missing man case.

Also this week, PBSO deputies say a body was found in the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area. Detectives say a hunter found the body while in the area.

Body found in July

In July, authorities found the charred remains of a car belonging to Merit Jordan Jr. of Riviera Beach.

The 79-year old man had been missing since July 7.

Detectives have not connected Jordan Jr. to the body that was found.

If you know anything about these cases, you're asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
