(NBC) A billboard aimed at Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis' opposition to same-sex marriage towers over her town.

The message reads "Dear Kim Davis, the fact that you can't sell your daughter for three goats and a cow means we have already redefined marriage."

The group "planting peace" paid $500 to put up the sign in Morehead, Ky., for a month.

The organization's president says the intent is to shine a light on how he says the anti-LGBT movement is "selective in what rules to follow" and how people choose to define traditional institutions or values.
