BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A group of students at Boynton Beach High School is preparing for the trip of a lifetime.

The chorus will be going to London for a performance.

Friday, the past Lord Mayor of Westminster visited the school to formally invite the group to the event.

The chorus, named Dimensional Harmony, will perform during the London International Choral Festival between December 29 and January 2.

"The hard work and dedication we all put into this group pays out, it totally pays out," says Roberto Sarres, a chorus member.

"We're honored. I'm speechless, I don't even know what to say, but it's a really good experience and we're willing to take it," adds Cindy Gomez, another member of the group.

The chorus plans to check out the sites of London during the trip. But students still have a lot of fundraising to do to make it to London.

The school started a GoFundMe account to collect donations. Students are also selling cookie dough and tumblers to raise money.
