Riviera Beach considers 6-story, $35M hotel with new marina

RIVERA BEACH, Fla. - The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will vote Wednesday night on another proposed change for the Riviera Beach Marina.

According to the South Florida Business Journal , Viking Developers will go before the CRA Wednesday night seeking approval for a $35 million project.

It would include construction of a six-story hotel with 37,600 square feet of commercial, 66 hotel rooms and 751 parking spaces.

The hotel would include nearly seventy rooms, 21,200 square feet of retail space, 750 square feet of office space and a fitness center.

The Journal also reports that the hotel will include a 5,000 square-foot restaurant, sky bar and a rooftop pool.

Construction is already underway for the new marina which will include shops, restaurants, a boardwalk and boat slips.

The total cost for the redevelopment project is $375 million.
