The cost of some licenses, permits and activity fees could go up in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The city of West Palm Beach is looking at upping fees that come with some of its licenses, permits and activities.

The changes are generally made every year when the city is crafting its new fiscal budget.

Changes include an increase in the fees for things like building permits and special police and fire services. The city is also looking at taking some fees away, such as those vendors currently pay extra for to operate at special events or on holidays.

Commissioners will decide on whether to approve the changes when they meet at 5:00 Monday evening.
