Florida man says he wasn't wearing his own pants after cocaine bust

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Orlando police say a 29-year-old man told an officer that he wasn't wearing his own pants after the officer found a bag of white powder inside the suspect's shorts.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that officers searched Billy Diggs and two other men after authorities noticed a handgun inside the car the men were standing alongside.

Authorities say they seized an unspecified amount of cocaine from one of Diggs' pockets, at which time Diggs denied ownership of the shorts he was wearing.

Police say they found cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin inside the pockets of one of the other men, 54-year-old Daryl Brown.

According to arrest records, Diggs was serving 10 years of probation for an extortion conviction in Hillsborough County. He is facing charges of cocaine possession and violating probation.
