PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - The Palm Beach County school district announced Thursday they are changing the start and dismissal times at four middle schools later this month.

Effective Oct. 26, the following schools will be affected because of a transportation schedule changes:

• Boca Raton Middle School: 9:30 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.
• Don Estridge High Tech Middle School: 9:30 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.
• Omni Middle School: 9:30 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.
• Watson B. Duncan Middle School: 9:25 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The district said the changes will allow the schools to “optimize instructional time for students.”

The revised schedule will not affect morning school bus stop times or locations for students who ride buses. However, afternoon schedules may be adjusted at a later date if necessary.

Parents who have questions about the schedule changes should contact their child's school.

For more information, parents can also contact the Palm Beach County Office of Communications at (561) 357-1114.
