Jacquelyn 'Bobby' Pierre: Delray Beach police seek suspect in fatal shooting

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Delray Beach police are searching for a suspect in Thursday's fatal shooting on Southwest 20th Court.

Detectives said Monday that Jacquelyn “Bobby” Pierre, 33, faces a first-degree murder charged in connection with the death of 29-year-old Marc Arthur Barreau.  Police said Barreau and Pierre knew each other.

Just before 12:15 p.m. Thursday, police said the two got into an argument in front of Pierre’s apartment, which quickly escalated to violence.  Barreau was shot multiple times.

Delray Beach Fire Rescue transported Barreau to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead later that afternoon.

Police believe Pierre may be in the Little Haiti area of Miami.  He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the homicide or Pierre’s whereabouts can report information to Det. Gary Ferreri at (561) 243-7800 or report anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at (561) 458-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestopperspbc.com.
