On Tuesday, an event will be held to allow parents to learn more about the school programs offered in Palm Beach County's public schools.
The county has more than 280 choice programs that allow students to take classes with a specific career focus.
Programs range from international arts programs to finance and medicine studies.
This event will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds.
Choice applications for the 2016-17 school year will be accepted starting Nov. 2.
Also, parents are encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit WPTV's annual Food for Families Food Drive.
