Fort Pierce police search for Center Chase Bank robbery suspect

FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery in Fort Pierce.

At 10:40 a.m. today, police say a man fled the Center Chase Bank at 5001 Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce after making off with an unknown amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, between 5' 10" and 6' tall, weighing approximately 220 lbs. with reddish blond hair and wearing a dark blue t-shirt with khaki cargo pants.

The suspect entered a black GMC Arcadia-type vehicle with dark tinted windows.

Police say the vehicle should have fresh damage to the right rear quarter panel.
