An injured sea turtle is finally all better and back in the wild.
Sydney, a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle, was found at the St. Lucie power plant intake canal in July.
She was lethargic, debilitated and hypoglycemic.
For the past 3 months she's been nursed back to health at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
"This is the whole reason we're here doing the rehabilitation...to get to this point so that we can release the turtles so we're all excited and we love to see the public get excited about the releases as well," said Director of Research and Rehabilitation Dr. Charles Manire,
Sydney was released on Juno Beach behind the center at 11 Tuesday morning.
