BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a crash which resulted in the death of a Boca Raton motorist on Sunday evening.

Boca Raton police have identified the deceased motorist as 46-year-old Wendy Harris.

Harris died Sunday night when police say a 15-year-old suspect and his passenger Jacquan Strowbridge crashed into her SUV while attempting to escape police in a stolen Ford Mustang.

The 15-year-old suspect is currently on probation and has been arrested six times in 2015 for crimes like  vehicle theft, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, robbery, burglary, theft, and carrying concealed firearm.

Strowbridge spent two years in prison for his role kidnapping and robbing a deliveryman in Deerfield Beach in 2011, when he was 16-years-old.

The 15-year-old suspect is facing the following charges by PBSO: Vehicular Homicide, Murder, and Aggravated Fleeing & Eluding Causing Death.

Florida state law requires juveniles to be tried as adults in grand theft cases involving a death.

Harris' family has requested privacy during their difficult time.
