Port St. Lucie police seek to identify 3 suspects

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Port St. Lucie police are asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects who kidnapped a Stuart man, drove him to Port St. Lucie, shot him in the head, and left him on the side of the road.

On Saturday, October 24, 2015 at about 3:15 p.m., Port St. Lucie police responded to reports of a man shot in the head and stripped of his clothes on the side of the road at the intersection of McCarty Road and Newell Road.

Detectives received information from the shooting victim that the car which drove him to the scene of the shooting was low on fuel.

A search of surrounding gas stations revealed a possible suspect car pulling into the Town Star Convenience Store and Gas Station at 6602 West Midway Road in Port St. Lucie.

Surveillance video reveals a newer model gray or silver 4-door car pull up to the gas pumps.

Detectives are looking to identify the occupants of this vehicle for questioning in regards to the shooting at McCarty Road and Newell Road.

The passenger is described as a black male of average height and build. The driver is described as a black male with a muscular build approximately 5' 10" - 6" tall, wearing a white tank top, light colored shorts, and a ball cap.
