MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies in Martin County helped rescue a young buck trapped in a soccer net Wednesday morning.

Deputy Erick Day and Deputy Becky Brady were on patrol when they spotted the young deer struggling at Halpatiokee Park.

The deer's head and neck was completely tangled in the net when they arrived.

According to a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, the deputies tried to calm the frightened deer as they worked to free it.

When it was free, the unharmed buck quickly scampered back into the woods.

Way to go deputies!
