A New Jersey police officer went above and beyond the call of duty when he purchased shoes for a man in dire need of them.
Officer Kenya Joyner removed the man from a bus at the request of the driver because of a policy requiring that riders wear shoes.
When he saw that the man was barefoot, Joyner sprung into action. He went across the street and picked him up a new pair of boots.
A woman recorded the nice gesture and uploaded it to Facebook.
