Police identify couple shot during Flakka drug buy

Police have identified the two people shot in a drug buy for Flakka Thursday in Boynton Beach.

23-year-old Matthew Allen of Texas told police he and 28-year-old Danielle Chambless of Kentucky were in rehab and went to Northwest 13th Avenue to buy the drug.

Police say the transaction soured and the dealer opened fire at the pair.

Chambless was pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center. Allen received non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said they found the pair's bullet-riddled Kia Sportage in the 400 block of NW 13th Avenue around 3:20 p.m.

Police say detectives are actively looking for the dealer but have not yet released a description.

If you know anything you are asked to call Boynton Beach Police at 561-732-8116 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
