Hate crime suspect sought by Boca Raton police

Boca Raton police are investigating an ugly incident in the city in which a man hurled insults and fought with another man all because of his religion.

The victim claims he was walking in the area of area of 350 NE 2nd Street when a man on a bike rode by and shouted, "Jews should go back to Auschwitz. Hitler was right."

The victim told police he responded by saying, "Why don't you come back here and say that."

The suspect returned and shoved the victim who told police he fell and hit his forehead on the ground.

He said he then got up and the pair exchanged punches before the suspect took off.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, about 20-years-old, 160 pounds and 6' tall. He had blonde or light brown hair similar to a crew cut and no facial hair. He was wearing a light yellow shirt, jeans and dark shoes and riding a dark blue Schwinn mountain bike.

The incident happened Saturday November 21 around 11 a.m.
