Adopted! Pet of the Week Sandi

Update: Sandi has found her forever home! There are more animals that need a home at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Meet our Peggy's Pick of the Week Sandi. She's a 5-year-old mixed breed who is up for adoption at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Here's a special message from Sandi:

Hi my name is Sandi!  I'm very sweet, loyal and intelligent.  I'm also very well-mannered, gentle and friendly as can be.  I love to go on walks and I will walk calmly right next to you - no tugging or pulling on the leash for me!  I like to enjoy the great outdoors too! I love people of all ages and get along with other dogs, although I am somewhat selective about my four legged friends.  I'm also fairly quiet and am happy to get and give affection.  There's just one thing I don't like too much - thunderstorms.  I just need a caring person to help me with my fear.  One of the kennel staff gave me a box which I like to go in when there's thunder, and that really helped!  She also put a fan nearby because the noise really helps to calm me at those times.  I'm also taking some medicine right now to help with my anxiety.  If you're looking for an affectionate, loyal and loving companion, I will be so happy to go home with you!
