Man accused of cutting ex-girlfriend's brake lines

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Investigators say Pierre Johnson pulled up to his girlfriend's apartment near West Palm Beach just after midnight Monday morning.

The woman tells police she called him there to end their relationship.

At 3:42 a.m., the woman tells Johnson to leave.

Police say the surveillance footage shows he drove away - but just a few minutes later, he's back.

At 6:27 a.m., police say Johnson parked directly next to his ex-gilfriends car, seemingly to hide what he was about to do.

Police say he got out and cut her brake lines.

The woman was unaware of what went on in her parking lot while she was sleeping.

At 8 a.m. she got in her car with her Godson to drive him to the bus stop.

But when she began to pull out, she noticed her brake pedal wasn't working.

So she quickly put the car in park, got out, and that's when she saw puddles of brake fluid under her car - something she had never seen before.

The woman called a tow truck and mechanics discovered what happened the night before.
