Bicycle rider struck and killed by a car in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla. - An 84-year-old man died when the bicycle he was on collided with a car in Boca Raton Friday morning.

Alan Curtis was attempting to cross Yamato Road near Patch Reef Park when an Audi driven by Tanya Rolleri, 37, struck him, according to Boca Raton police.


Curtis, of Boca Raton, was later pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center.

Rolleri, who also lives in Boca Raton, was not hurt.
