PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - For one week a year, Palm Beach Gardens serves as the center of the golfing world - in more ways than one.

With almost 200,000 people attending the Classic over the course of the week, the chances of you bumping into out-of-towners are pretty high.

Folks like Jeanette Jensen and Carloyn Brandel were visiting from Iowa.

They will gladly take a breezy day - compared to what they left behind in Iowa.

"We got a heat wave going - It's supposed to be in the 40's, I think," Brandel says. "Close to 50's by Sunday."

Coming from Georgia, Kelsey Heller can relate.

"Probably frigid, probably 30 with no sun, so this is a lot better," she says.

She came to watch her favorite golfer - Georgia Tech grad Ollie Schniederjans.

We asked her where PGA National would rank on her list of courses.

"Since I've only been to three tournaments this year, this might be up there," Heller says.

From across state lines to across the pond - Moira Cassidy comes from Ireland to the Honda Classic every year to sell spectators on golfing on the Emerald Isle.

She, of course, is also taking in a little golfing action herself.

"I would again be rooting for my Irish countrymen, but I would hope that at the end of the day that it's golf that wins."

A lot of countries are represented in the crowd - and in the field of players as well.

Including the U.S., 17 countries are represented at this year's Honda Classic.
