WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio will be leading a local delegation in Washington D.C. this week. The city says the group will meet with federal agencies and members of Congress to discuss issues important to the city.
Some of the issues outlined in the city's Federal Legislative Agenda include the preservation and protection of the Grassy Waters Preserve, money for public housing projects and new firefighter equipment.
The group says they will also monitor any federal rail, multi-modal, and transportation legislation or policies that might impact West Palm Beach.
