WFLX studios evacuated after smell of smoke detected

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Firefighters were called to the WFLX television studio at 1100 Banyan Boulevard in West Palm Beach after 5 p.m. Tuesday, after workers detected the smell of smoke.

Employees were ordered out of the building by West Palm Beach Fire Rescue around 5:45 p.m.

The smell came from an air handler on the air conditioning system.

The all clear was later given and WFLX/WPTV resumed broadcasting at 6:12 p.m.

No one was injured.
