Road-rage chase caught on tape near Miami

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - A harrowing cat-and-mouse chase was caught on tape Monday as the drivers of a motorcycle and car weaved through traffic near Miami.

The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Rone Gonzalez, told WSVN that it all started when he split two cars who were waiting at a red light.  The driver of a red Ford Fusion took exception to that and began chasing and swerving towards Gonzalez.

The video, recorded on Gonzalez's helmet cam, documents the ensuing chase at high speeds as the motorcyclist appears to try to get away from the car, even driving on the wrong side of the road at one point.

"At that point, I just wanted to get out of the situation," he said.

The car still manages to catch up with Gonzalez, where the driver hangs out the window and appears to swing at Gonzalez.

According to WSVN, Gonzalez says he tried to file a report with Homestead police, but was told he shouldn't bother.
