Bear cub rescued from Florida wildfire

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - Firefighters rescued an adorable bear cub while battling a Central Florida brush fire Thursday.

The blaze stretched more than 250 acres in Lake County.

Residents had to be evacuated but have since returned home after the fire was contained.

No humans were hurt, but the cub, weighing 15 to 20 pounds, was singed from the flames.

Wildlife officials are evaluating the cub after it suffered slight burns to its face and claws.

Unfortunately, crews said there was no sign of the bear's mother.
