PBSO: Man harms himself while in back of patrol car

LAKE WORTH, Fla. -- A man has been hospitalized after a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy says he harmed himself while sitting in the back of a PBSO patrol car.

Deputies arrested the man at Reggae Fest in Lake Worth Friday night for trespassing and resisting arrest.

While he was in the back of the patrol car, Deputies say he began to hurt himself. The deputy stopped the vehicle and rendered first aid, calling Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for assistance, according to PBSO.

He was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
