According to Boynton Beach Police, officers responded to the U.S. Post Office at 217 North Seacreast Boulevard just after 11 p.m. Friday night in reference to a burglary. On scene, officers say they located Francis Keller inside of the work room, using scissors to open packages. Keller reported to officers that he had formerly worked at this post office for 30 years and had gained entry into the building by trying an old security code for the door.

Police say Keller was "extremely intoxicated" and told officers he planned to steal valuables from the packages to sell for drugs. Boynton Beach officers arrested Keller and transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail.
