Yael Hershfield, the regional director for the Anti-Defamation League can't believe what is happening.

"I am beyond saddened that in 2017 the Jewish community continues to be the target of hate," she said.
Hershfield is angry about the recent bomb threats at Jewish community centers and vandalism to property in the Jewish community.

"We need to stand up and say this is not acceptable," she added.

She says people in the community are calling her office.

"Just this week we saw cars vandalized in Miami Beach with the swastikas, one on a synagogue."

Local politicians are also upset. U. S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz not holding back her frustration, wanting the Trump administration to do more.

"I don't think it's coincidental that it happened during President Trump's campaign and giving license to anti Semite by not knocking it down."

The Muslim community is also denouncing the vandalism in Jewish neighborhoods. Kashif Mohammed, director of the Muslim American Caucus of Florida said, "Here we are working with people of the Jewish community some Rabbis and others. And we want to stand up as one, as one voice."

The Anti-Defamation League says nationally just today alone, there were at least 20 threats to Jewish institutions. Since the beginning of the year, there have been about 90 threats.
