A group including U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel will be meeting Monday in southern Palm Beach County to discuss the rise of anti-Semitic activity nationwide.

Frankel will host a roundtable with Palm Beach County Jewish organizations, law enforcement officials and others.

Since the beginning of the year, Jewish community centers and schools across the nation have been targeted by more than 100 bomb threats and vandalism with swastikas, including in South Florida.

In February, a swastika was painted on a car in a predominately Orthodox Jewish neighborhood near Boca Raton and in January there was a bomb threat at the Mandel Jewish Community Center in Palm Beach Gardens.

Frankel signed a letter to President Donald Trump urging him to address the alarming rise in hate crimes against Jews and other minority groups in the United States since the November election.

President Trump recently condemned the rise in anti-Semitic acts calling them "horrible and painful."

The roundtable will be held at 11 a.m. at the Mandel Jewish Community Center at 8500 Jog Rd. in suburban Boynton Beach.
