Daylight saving time is here

A reminder as you wake up this morning to "spring forward." Daylight saving officially started at 2 a.m.

If you're feeling groggy, hang in there. Sleep specialists say it should take a day or two to adjust.

Some tips include opening the blinds, eating a hearty breakfast, avoiding caffeine late in the day and taking a nap.

Your internal clock should be back on track within 48 hours.

Daylight saving is used by 70 countries to conserve power.

It was passed by Congress in 1918 to save energy and fuel to produce electric power. It never caught on in Hawaii and Arizona.

We'll fall back to standard time on November 5.
