BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Skimmer devices have been found at gas pumps at five locations in Boynton Beach over the last month.
The devices, which steal users' credit card information, were located on pumps at the following gas stations:
Exxon Mobil, 290 N. Congress Ave.
Chevron, 645 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
Sunoco, 2403 S. Federal Hwy.
Shell, 111 E. Woolbright Rd.
7-Eleven, 7044 Lawrence Rd.
The Boynton Beach Police Department recommends that you go inside the gas station to pay.
Always look for a security sticker on the pump. If there is no sticker, or it is torn, you should use another pump or pay inside and notify the staff.
