Police: Boynton woman shot in targeted attack

A woman was shot several times at close range in a targeted attack in Boynton Beach Wednesday night, according to city police.

The shooting happened in the front of Z Food Meat Market at 1005 N. Seacrest Boulevard, police said.

The still unidentified 26-year-old victim was transported to Delray Medical Center.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. and police are urging witnesses to please call them.
