FBI continuing child porn investigation on Perry

FBI continuing child porn investigation on Perry

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- The F.B.I. has confirmed that it is still working on the child pornography case against a Palm Beach County middle school teacher, despite him committing suicide.

Corey Perry, who worked at H.L. Watkins Middle School, shot and killed himself on April 14, 2017 in a Nashville hotel room as F.B.I. agents were moving in to arrest him.

Investigators believe Perry not only produced, but also received child pornography.

Federal agents working the case have already stated there are numerous victims, but will not be releasing further information on them.

The F.B.I. believes that Perry did not work with anyone else, but they are continuing to investigate whether someone helped him elude arrest while he was a fugitive.

Agents fear there may be more victims and they want to hear from parents if they believe their children may have had contact with Perry.

The investigation of child pornography charges includes the identification, notification and offering of services to victims.
