TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Last week, Alabama showed what Nick Saban means by "rat poison."

This week, the Crimson Tide played as if they hadn't listened to a single person predicting their victory.

Bama trounced Arkansas 41-9 at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday.

Bama (7-0, 4-0 SEC) put up 28-unanswered points in the first half. The Razorbacks ended the run with a field goal in the third quarter. They couldn't find the end zone until the final quarter.

Even so, by that time, the Tide's victory was well in hand.

Jalen Hurts impressed with his arm by gaining 155 yards on 12-of-19 passing. He connected with Henry Ruggs, III for a 20-yard score.

He also ran for 41 yards and an 11-yard score.

Damien Harris notched another stellar performance on the ground with 125 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns on gains of 75 and four.

Najee Harris earned Bama's final touchdown in the fourth quarter on a gain of four.

Next Saturday marks the Third Saturday in October. This year, Tennessee will come to Bryant-Denny.
