1 Adult and 5 teens arrested for car burglaries

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- One adult and five juveniles believed to be responsible for numerous burglaries to cars in Boynton Beach were arrested on Monday.

Police recovered three stolen vehicles during the arrests, which occurred after someone called 911 around 6 a.m. to report a gray Infiniti Q50 being burglarized in the 400 block of NE 17th Avenue.

18-year-old Max Pierre of Boynton Beach is charged with burglary.

The juveniles, between the ages of 13 and 17, were charged with grand theft auto, burglary to auto, fleeing and eluding, trespass to a conveyance, and resisting arrest without violence.

Pierre was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

The teens were taken to the Palm Beach County Juvenile Assessment Center.
