The Sanctuary Barber & Spa

So how do you get men to go for a manicure? How about calling it a "hand tune up?" Owner Liza Basil's Barber Spa concept is taking the country by storm, and its right here in downtown West Palm Beach. Even if they don't care to be labeled with terms like "metrosexual" the distinguished gentleman will like what they find at The Sanctuary. The ambiance has a very country club cigar bar feel with cherry wood trim work and plasma televisions to catch updates of the games or the stock market. State-of-the-art Italian chairs allow for an individual client to receive several services at the same time by multiple staff members for the busy executive on the go. The Sanctuary BarberSpa also offers a concierge service that can arrange for dry cleaning, shoe shining or flower ordering.

A hot shave from a professional barber? Who does that anymore! The Sanctuary, at 120 South Dixie Hwy in Downtown West Palm Beach does that and a lot more. The BarberSpa advertises on its door, "exclusively for the distinguished gentlemen". They cater to urban professional men who are highly conscientious of their health, cleanliness and appearance.

The Signature service at The BarberSpa consists of a relaxing hand massage while reclining in a shiatsu massage chair and receiving a cooling shampoo with hot steam towels on the face. The final touches are a Tea Tree oil scalp conditioning massage and facial toners. This signature treatment is always included with the haircuts or is available à la carte. This custom inclusive service with a haircut provides the extra value that men desire.

"One of our hottest services is our Gray Blending. We simply blend natural color with your gray and it disappears in only 10 minutes!" exclaims owner Liza Basil.

"We want to be a one-stop-shop. Our concept is in its infancy and there is a multitude of services that we are developing to allow the professional man to relax for a moment but keep his schedule moving," says owner Liza Basil.
