It's a night most don't forget: their high school prom. Yet with the cost of formal wear through the roof, what's a girl to do if she can't afford the price of a new gown?
Enter Becca's Closet. Becca's Closet is a non-profit organization designed to help needy girls in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties obtain a gown. The organization gives new and slightly worn prom dresses to high school girls in financial need.
The non-profit effort was started by Rebecca Kirtman, who passed away in a tragic automobile accident at 16, and has been continued by her parents Pam and Jim Kirtman.
