COPY-Paris trembling before sent back to jail

Associated Press - June 8, 2007 4:13 PM ET

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Paris Hilton's entire body began trembling just before a judge decided to sent her back to jail.

A ball of tissue wadded up in her hand and tears running down her face, Hilton screamed after learning she was going to jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.

After the sentence, the courtroom was surrounded with eight deputies who immediately ordered all spectators out.

Hilton's mother, Kathy, threw her arms around her husband, Rick, and was sobbing uncontrollably.

Deputies escorted Hilton out of the room, holding each of her arms as she looked back.

Outside the court, many of Hilton's dozens of supporters appeared devastated. One man screamed, "No! No! No!" as a court spokesman delivered the news to reporters.
