ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A man has been charged with killing a teen Orlando police say was trying to defend a pregnant woman. Jamie Cockfield is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault on a pregnant woman.

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (AP) - A Collier County woman has been found in the trunk of a car in an apparent kidnapping. But police are still looking for the person Michelle Parr says forced her into the trunk early yesterday morning.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - This morning was the third time an Orange County sheriff's helicopter had a problem in the last three months. The sheriff's office says the crew smelled burning rubber and decided to land to check for problems. No one was injured.
