KENNEDY SPACE CENTER (AP) - NASA tries again today to bring home shuttle Atlantis. The Florida landing was waved off due to bad weather yesterday. There are five chances to land today at either the Florida landing strip or in California.

PLANT CITY, Fla. (AP) - A man was killed this morning by a train in Plant City. His name has not been released, and authorities are still investigating. Officials say the man was sitting on the tracks with his head down and didn't try to move when the train passed him.

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Swimmers were kept on dry land for several hours at Fort Walton Beach after lifeguards noticed sharks swimming close to shore. Hundreds of people were ordered out of the water yesterday morning after the sharks were spotted swarming.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) - Police in Port St. Lucie say an Illinois man is now facing charges of marijuana possession after he asked an officer for directions while he had a marijuana cigarette behind his ear. Maurice Stuckey reportedly told the officer the cigarette had marijuana when asked what it was.
